Don't know that this is any help but the bushings on my 2018 Forester XT (80k miles) were just replaced because I was not getting noise, but severe vibration in the steering wheel at 70-80 mph during very slight turns when I'd change lanes. Even dealer didn't recommend replacing the control arms - just the upper and lower bushings..
