I took the Acadia, which is a 2012, down to Auto Zone to have the codes read which came back with the P0697 and C0242-00 codes, with a most likely solution of "Repair under dash wiring harness". I did the search on the 2 codes …I'm thinking traction control gets disabled BECAUSE of the reduced engine power/limp mode. You can replace the throttle body if you want, it is extremely easy, but its close to $300, which to me is far from cheap.
