Apr 22, 2013 · I recently purchased an 1975 FJ40 that ahd been sitting for years without being run. I replaced the fuel tank and all lines and filters. After ensuring the cylinders where ok, I fueled it up and it cranked! It was difficult at first but it ran rough but wouldnt idle.
