Its been a while since i have used it…Dextromethorphan HBr is DXM bound to a HBr (hydrogen-bromide) molecule. This is done for the OTC medical concoctions as HBr helps with solubility/stability. Pure Dextromethorphan is generally a powder. For, say, 100mg of DXM HBr, only about 70mg of it is DXM. This is why ppl recommend a lower dose for "freebase" such as the pure Robo30s. [deleted]
