Ac not working on driver side

I have a 2000 S70. The AC works fine. Blower motor strong. Heater works on passenger side, but not driver's. When you adjust the driver's side temperature up you can here the damper motor click , but you still get cool or cold air. The same treatment on the passenger side changes from cold to hot air. This is a problem for defrosting in cold ....

I believe the Arctic R134 uses the synthetic type that stays a lubricant to seal small leaks. I used maybe 3/4 of can a month ago and both sides blow cold. I just had this issue (hot driver side, cool passenger side). One can of 134a (AC Pro) and back up and running (51 degrees F from vents on max A/C - this may go down after the car sits overnight).
