I actually found a Ford 8.8 with 4.11 gears. $200 with disc, and only 80k miles. I'm debating waiting for one with the taller gears for freeway use. I figure the 4.11 at 70 mph would put my RPMs at 2500. A touch higher than I would prefer. But I'm still a newb and don't know any better. Jun 16, 2007 · Chevelle update thread. Ive never seen 4:11 in a 12 bolt. 4:10 is the correct gears for a 12 and like stated above , 8:2 is where the 4:11 is used.
