I was suprised based on all the numerous Sig shill youtube reviews claiming it was a similar size as an X/XL. For most people XL grip module is big enough for a full grip and will allow more flexibility (especially with MagGuts and TacDev upgrades). Unfortunately you will have to wait until at least next spring for the new mags and grip modules.

The regular slide landed on the XL frame with 12rd capacity.It’s the softest shooting gun for the slimline class that I have shot. It’s less snappy than the 365xl. Could be a combination of the grip length and comp working together. If you don’t mind a comp on your carry gun I’d recommend the macro. If you don’t like the grip module for CCW then you can get a smaller module.

I have shot both back to back and they are both very good shooters. shooting them next to the the XL was proof to me the Comp Really make a difference. Like.The XL gives folks with big hands like me a little extra space. Bigger capacity from the factory. The original 365 comes from the factory with a 10+1 capacity and an option to purchase higher capacity magazines. The XL comes with a 12-round + 1 capacity and the option to buy higher capacity mags. The x compact shoots the best but the xl with the macro grip is very close and is much more comfortable to carry all day. Not a huge difference between the xl and the xl-macro but enough to notice on the timer. Big difference between the standard 365 and the xl-macro.
